Brian and Alisha met while attending Oklahoma Christian University and married not long after their graduation. After working in Oklahoma for a few years, Brian and Alisha moved to Vienna with some of their friends because they felt that the love of Jesus in their lives could make a big impact upon Austrian society. They love living in beautiful, cosmopolitan Vienna because of the rich culture and the diverse nationalities of people living there. Their desire is to see the story of Jesus touch the lives of the many people in Vienna.
In their free time, Brian and Alisha enjoy playing with their miniature beagle, Sharkdog. They like watching “The Office” and “Seinfeld” on DVD, and they also enjoy reading during the evening hours. Their favorite music includes The Beatles, Bob Dylan, U2, Bruce Springsteen, and Radiohead. They also enjoy spending time in any of Vienna’s famous coffeehouses. Their favorite Viennese coffeehouse is Café Central.
Brian and Alisha believe that many good things will result from their time in Vienna, and they are excited to see the good news of God’s peace, reconciliation, and hope bless this city and all of creation.
