Jake and Amanda Haskew were married in 2000 and attended Memorial Road Church of Christ (MRCC) where they were active in the children's, college, and adult education ministries. Both attended Oklahoma Christian University where Jake received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA and Amanda studied Early Childhood Education. Abby was born in 2003. Before moving to Vienna Jake worked as an RF Engineer with Sprint.
Now in Vienna, Jake and Amanda are studying German and learning to adapt to a new culture. They have met some very nice people and look forward to making new relationships here. Abby is attending a German language kindergarten and is beginning to incorporate German into her ever expanding vocabulary.
Jake, Amanda, and Abby enjoy reading books, watching movies, photography, sewing, coloring, and Abby especially likes to “act out” any of the books or movies she has seen in various ways. Daisy is the hairiest member of the family as she is from the Golden Retriever gene pool. She has decided that Vienna is actually heaven because she gets to run around without a fence, meet and play with other dogs almost every day and has her own pond to swim in.
